Tool of Justice

Exodus 3:9-10
Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

So often we look at injustice and question God. We demand to know why He has allowed such suffering and demand that He intervene. The reality we see in the story of Moses and the oppression of Israel is that God is writing a story of His glory for our own good. The story of Exodus becomes the inspiration for Israel for over 1000 years and points perfectly to the work of redemption in Jesus Christ. Furthermore, God's intervention most often comes through His work in the hearts of His people - not our circumstances. We are the tools of God's justice - the pen God uses to complete His story. What an honor it is to be invited by God to be used by Him! May we never make excuses like Moses and allow this blessing and the answer to injustice slip past us. May we not be guilty of greater injustice due to our lack of faith and confidence in God to work through us.

God use me today as a tool of Your justice. Amen.

1 Corinthians 2:9
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
nor have entered into the heart of man
the things which God has prepared
for those who love Him.”
